Unique Mountain Biking and Hiking Holiday in South Tyrol – At One with the Mountains
Mountain biking and hiking in the Belpiano-Malga di San Valentino resort in Val Venosta
Our beautiful region isn’t just a winter highlight!
In the Belpiano-Malga di San Valentino hiking and mountain biking resort on Passo di Resia, also well known as a popular ski resort, there are also a great deal of wonderful summer tours, ranging from 1,400 and 2,600m in altitude. The 40km of enduro trails, which take you through three countries, and the various practice runs take mountain bike riders along the bottom of the valley, past Lago di Resia and Lago di San Valentino alla Muta and up to the tree line. Nowhere else in South Tyrol is mountain biking such a diverse activity!
Beautiful high, circular trails between lush Alpine pastures and blossoming meadows make the main Alpine ridge area, where the borders of Italy, Austria and Switzerland meet, a hugely popular destination for hiking holidays in South Tyrol. Challenging hiking trails take you into the glacial world of the main Alpine ridge. Hikers and mountain bike riders can take the Belpiano cable cars up to an altitude of 2,000m, where many of the routes begin.
Here’s a checklist for a truly unique holiday in the Belpiano skiing, mountain biking and hiking resort in Val Venosta on Lago di Resia:
• 50km of exhilarating mountain bike trails
• 200km of perfectly marked hiking paths
• Two modern cable cars and lifts
